Losing their first four games of the season (0-4) is no doubt a disastrous way to begin the season and that's where the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers find themselves today.
As if that isn't enough bad news, the Bombers have learned they will be without the services of their anchor on defense, linebacker Barrin Simpson, for the remainder of the regular season. Simpson suffered a pectoral injury in the team's loss to the BC Lions on Friday, an injury that will require surgury to repair.
On the bright side, the club is expecting the return of star receiver Milt Stegall for their game agaisnt the visiting Calgary Stampeders on Thursday.
